Mary Ann DeFelice
Educational Consultant
MaryAnn joined FPNS in 2016 as an educational consultant after retiring from the New Canaan Public Schools as Special Education Coordinator. She hold a Masters of Arts in Special Education and sixth year degree in Special Education and Administration.
Her favorite thing about teaching preschool children is that they are curious learners with high levels of motivation to learn through play. When not in the classroom, MaryAnn enjoys gardening, travel, reading, and hiking.
Katey Ryan
Office Assistant
Katey is a graduate of New Canaan High School and Bucknell University. She worked in Marketing for the NBA and Event Planning for Gibson Guitar. Her four children all attended FPNS and are currently in the New Canaan Public Schools.
Her favorite things to do are read books, go to the beach and exercise.

Kate Licata
Lunch Bunch and Triple Play Teacher
Kate Licata earned a BS in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island and an MS, RD from New York University's clinical nutrition program. She worked as a Registered Dietitian at hospitals in New York City.
Kate has lived in New Canaan with her husband and three daughters for 17 years. Two of them attended FPNS and she feels fortunate to be working here to contribute to the very loving and caring environment!
