Meghan Murphy Gould
Music
An alumna of FPNS, Meghan Murphy Gould is the Music teacher at the school. A lifelong musician and dancer, she has a B.A. in English from Bucknell University with minors in Music and Education.
After a career in fashion marketing, she was thrilled in 2015 to return to the FPNS community. Meghan loves fostering children's innate love of song, rhythm, and movement with a diverse array of songs ranging from traditional kids music to more contemporary artists like the Beatles and Guns N’ Roses. Students at the school have a daily 20 minute music class.
Meghan lives in New Canaan with her husband and two children, both of whom attended FPNS. Meghan is also a photographer who loves the beach, her garden and skiing with her family.

Marie Pinchbeck
Science
Marie believes that every day is a new adventure when you are working with preschool children. She loves how eager they are to learn and loves teaching them new skills, which she has been doing at FPNS since 2003. Prior to joining the FPNS staff, she spent 31 years as a public school kindergarten teacher at the Cos Cob School in Greenwich and West School and Center Schools in New Canaan.
Marie lives with her husband and Maine Coon Cat, Sassy, in Ridgefield. She loves to read, garden, and travel. She holds a Masters degree in reading.
