Frogs

Frogs are amazing creatures!  They are a part of a large and diverse group of animals called Amphibians.  Amphibians live on land and in water.  Amphibians also breath air through their lungs AND through their skin.  Frogs are also Carnivores, which means they eat meat.  Guess how they catch their food......with their TONGUES!!  There are so many other fun facts about frogs like their life cycle and how they hibernate in the Winter months under the mud.

Above is a fun video showing how a frog grows from an egg to an adult.   On the side are three links:

Baking Soda & Vinegar

Baking Soda and Vinegar are two things you can probably find around your house!  And chances are...you've probably eaten both of them too.  Baking soda is used for baking things like cupcakes and Vinegar is used in salad dressings.

Baking soda and Vinegar are two very different ingredients.  Baking soda is a "base" and Vinegar an "acid".  If mixed together in the right amounts - the mixture can be downright EXPLOSIVE!!

A Vinegar Fun Fact:

White vinegar can help treat a sunburn. Simply put a tissue over the sunburned skin and lightly spray with white vinegar. It helps restore your skin to the correct acidity and gives a cooling effect.
