The Pre-K 's Program is an option for children who would benefit from an extra year after the Four's Program. It is a true Pre-Kindergarten program.

Pre-K is full of continuing the love of learning through play. Teachers focus on nurturing students' social and emotional development through hands-on learning. The children have many “kindergarten-like” experiences such as Morning Message, Weekend News, Math explorations, rich literature and individualized reading instruction.

All eight of the standards are addressed, and all students are assessed and instruction is targeted to their needs. The areas of cognition, social/emotional growth, and physical development are woven into fun experimentation, exploration, and small group activities where children thrive. Our language and literacy, creative arts, mathematics, science and social studies curriculum ensures our students are well prepared for kindergarten. The Wilson Fundations handwriting program is continued as children are prepared to confidently enter Kindergarten. Students in the Pre-K Program have daily music classes and a dedicated weekly science program. They also use the most challenging parts of our integrated playground.

One 5-day option is available Monday – Friday:

Monday and Wednesday 9:00 - 1:55

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 - 12:00
